Help and corrections

Support

Email info@dana.technology for account help, a historical correction or a rights concern. Include a page link and the specific claim when reporting a story.

Account access

Open Account to use a passkey or any sign-in method currently available. Google and email sign-in appear only when configured. If you cannot get in, contact us from the email address associated with your account, if you used one.

Saved places and your data

Save a place from its Atlas story panel. Your reading list, export and deletion controls are in Account. See Delete account if you need help removing it.

Historical corrections

Send the story URL, sentence and a source that supports your correction. We will review the evidence before changing published text. A source passage in the reader shows what the automated check used; it is not a substitute for independent historical review.

App support

The first iOS and Android apps let you browse daily events, search place names and save event bookmarks offline. The native apps do not sign in or sync saved events yet. Email us with your device model, app version and a description of the issue; do not send a password or passkey.

Nearby alerts

In the native app, open Account and switch on Nearby historical site alerts. Raaz asks for notifications, precise location and background location so it can alert you when you enter about 1 km of a monitored site with a story, even when the app is closed. On Android 11 and later, choose “Allow all the time” in the app's Location settings, then return and tap “Try enabling nearby alerts.” You can switch alerts off in Account at any time. Detection depends on your device's location service and may be delayed; the app monitors a rotating set of nearby sites. The notification opens the site's Atlas story, which needs internet access.
