Basilica and Expiatory Church of the Holy Family, ES
In the 20th century
Stone is now shaped off-site by computer numerical control milling machines; in the 20th century, stone was carved by hand. Gaudí is buried in the church's crypt. The church was first built under Francisco de Paula del Villar. Computer-aided design allows precise stone shaping far from the site.
