Bryce Canyon National Park is a national park in southwestern Utah. It was established on February 25, 1928. Ebenezer Bryce, a Scottish immigrant sent by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, settled the land in the Paria Valley. In 1931, President Herbert Hoover expanded the park by annexing an area south of its original boundaries.
