Koper is the fifth-largest city in Slovenia
Koper is the fifth-largest city in Slovenia. The Cathedral of the Assumption was constructed in the second half of the 12th century. The 15th-century Praetorian Palace was formed by connecting two older 13th-century houses with a loggia, undergoing numerous reconstructions to become a Venetian Gothic palace. The Jazz Etno Funky Festival (JEFF) is held annually in July and August in Koper, taking place in the gardens of the Regional Museum of Koper.
