Also known as Lepcis Magna

Leptis Magna, also known as Lepcis Magna, was a prominent city of the Carthaginian Empire and Roman Libya at the mouth of the Wadi Lebda in the Mediterranean. The Punic city was founded in the second half of the 7th century BC. Its Punic name was written lpq (𐤋𐤐𐤒) or lpqy (𐤋𐤐𐤒𐤉), tentatively connected to the Semitic root lfq, meaning "to build" or "to piece together.
