Mount Ararat, TR
Two cones, one summit
It is a dormant compound volcano with two cones: Greater Ararat and Little Ararat. The first recorded attempts on the summit were made in the Middle Ages. They failed. Friedrich Parrot, Khachatur Abovian and four others were the first party recorded to reach the top.
