Nesebar, BG
Sometimes referred to as Mesambria or Melsembria
Nesebar is an ancient city and a major seaside resort on the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast, situated in Burgas Province. Originally a Thracian settlement, it was known as Mesembria. The town became a Greek colony when Dorians from Megara established it at the beginning of the 6th century BC. Sometimes referred to as Mesambria or Melsembria, the latter meaning the city of Melsas.
