Phong Nha–Ke Bang National Park, VN
By Decision 189/2001/QĐ-TTG
It protects one of the world's two largest karst regions — 300 caves and grottoes between them. It was a nature reserve first: on 12 December 2001 the Vietnamese Prime Minister made it a national park, by Decision 189/2001/QĐ-TTG. The park sits in Bố Trạch and Minh Hóa.
